I am new to the site so I hope this is the right place to ask my question. I have a 2005 1700 Sea Pro and it has sat for about 2 1/2 years on a trailer. I am trying to prepare the boat for sale and I am unable to get the gas from the tank to the engine (90 cc Honda 4 stroke). The engine is operating properly. It appears the gas line is blocked. Does anyone know if there is a check valve on the gas line? Or, has anyone else encounter this problem? Thanks

There is an antisiphon valve at the top of the gas tank where it goes from the tank to the line. They are notorious for sticking. Where are you located? When you get it ready, be sure to post it in the classified section.

If you were getting fuel recently, and it then became blocked, you might have debris blocking your pickup screen. Also a possibility on boats that sit a long time. If you haven't gotten any fuel since it sat up, it's most likely the antisiphon valve. Cheap and easy fix usually.
