Hello,
I purchased a 1996 210 walk around with a 3.0 with a Gen 2 mercruiser outdrive which I didn't water demo which is a big NO! NO!
I have 35 years of boating experience and owned 14 boats of various sizes all but 2 were Outboards.
My concern is what speeds which I should get running a 14.25 dia. x 17 pitch prop.
Thanks

Hello
Thank you for your response, I read everything in this Forum and never saw anything relating to the the 210 walk around.
I was hoping someone here had the same boat because Information on the Web Doesn't seem to be out there for this model.
I bought this boat from a Used boat dealer who just Sells boats and doesn't sea test them. The original owner moved to the West coast so I can't ask him about performance for this boat.
You have a 21 footer how much does your boat weigh, what do you get for performance. I know it would not be the same for my boat but your horse power is close to mine.
Thank You

His is a bay boat and will have totally different performance numbers than your boat. A buddy of mine had a 20' W/A Wellcraft that was real similar to your boat. He had a Volvo Ib/ob on his I think about 140 hp. Seems like at WOT he would run in the mid 30's (35-36). Cruse speed was upper 20''s (27-28). All speeds in knots so mph would be slightly higher.

I think that I/O you have pushes 180 h.p. When you get a chance to water test it, take a gps along, trim it out properly and see how fast it runs at WOT .. then based on the size of your current prop, you can figure out how fast that prop should be pushing your boat using a prop calculator like the one SC posted above.

Hello, i just bought the same boat and I am working out a few kinks with the wiring. Does your boat have live bait well and if so where is the pump for the bait well located? I cant seem to find a pump for the Bait well which is equipped with an aerator. Does your auxiliary panel look like the photo i attached? Attachment Deleted
