remember if you aren't catching your "Scouting". That explains a lot.. I've been a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout, and an Explorer Scout... and now as a fisherman, I'm still a Scout.

I've fished with Dudley. He's quite a character. "Scouting" is a beautiful euphemism. It's kind of like when one loses a fish. It's because the fish "spit the hook" not because of the fisherman's ineptitude with properly setting that hook or keeping the slack out of the line.
Yeah, maybe I'll adopt an Indian name because I'm sure enough a scout!

Crabs, Skipping days between showers not only makes you more manly, it makes you a better fisherman too. You should try it....

I was going to stay out of the minivan fray, but since it's gone to that level I'll tell you that my brother has a caravan, and I make a point out of the shifter on the dash is a great place to hang his purse! He still claims it as a "manly" van. good luck!

Moneyboat, I'm glad you've been towing with the Trailblazer. Freezer knows what I'm talking about. As the guardians of the venerable Sea Pro brand's image, I think we should do like Cross says and adopt a Man Rule barring the towing of our Sea Pros with minivans. Think about it. Brand is image and image is value. I'm talking about safeguarding the value of our investments in these fine boats.
All in favor, don't tow your boat with a minivan!
Not sure about Simple Man's non-showering tactic is all about, but I will try. If it doesn't attract more gnats and flies and it helps catch fish, I'm all for it.

.... The every other day bathing approach has to best of my knowledge no effect on gnats or deer flies. Effectiveness depends on the time of year. You also have to be with another freshly showered and scented companion, aka "bait". It will give you a more "manly" scent regardless.

Pull the drain plug and empty boat! Ha ha! Jk! That does seem heavy!

Hook that thing up, take it to landing and see what happens! Easy way to find out.
