In love with this boat. 2008 206dc with Verado 175 (only 70hrs), tons of options.

Out today on the Deleware in 20 ~ 25 mph winds, handled great. As I've read, I did get wet a few times. I have tabs, but it didn't help the spray. Quick question, I have been running 5000 - 6000 rpms quite a bit, any concerns?

Paddykel welcome aboard!
The 206 is a great hull and yes you will take on spray when the wind conditions are right. I have the CC model and usually keep the rpms around 4200 with a 150 Yamaha on back. When the boat is trimmed correctly I usually will be running around 24-25 knots with a big t-top. At that speed I am getting about 3.3 mpg.
ENJOY

You will be able to help a lot with spray when you adjust your tabs, but sometimes the wind and direction you need to go dictate higher than normal humidity.

Southern Cross,
We can cure this "BTW I can't attest to some of the offshore boats since have only been on a few of those and not on a Sea Pro offshore boat as of yet. Hopefully those boats fare just as well."
Just let me know when.

Thanks guys. I have been amazed with the fuel consumption. Grew up on I/O's chugging fuel, this boat is quite refreshing. What stabilizers do you guys use?

We are in South Jersey, Moorestown area. Typically have the boat in the river, although we managed a couple lake trips in the Poconos this summer.
