After a few years finally got myself into the boat I have been looking for. Have been boating for many years but it has taken time to find the right boat. After owning several boats including a CS 16'CC ended up with a 19' SeaPro Super Skiff which I sold in 4 days. That was precipitated by my finding a 21'6" 1999 SeaPro V2100 w/o paint and with a new Stryker T-Top. Powered by a 130 HP V-4 2000 Johnson ( I know a gas hog but pretty bullet proof) with factory spec compression and apparently low hours by the looks of the motor and rig. Stereo sytem and commo equip is pretty good but am in the process of updating the FF/GPS with a Lowrance Elite 7HDI. Put a new Aluminum trailer underneath it and it runs pretty well for the few hours I have been on the water. Will replace the Batts at the beginning of next season. Have a gremlin in the baitwell pump that I have to ferret out but the prev. owner told me that it did work for him the last time he used it. Dumb me never ran it when I was checking out the boat. Either way it is original and I may have to R/R it before the season. Slowly going over the motor and will replace the water pump in spring but it seems very solid and can get up and boogie with two well fed guys in it although I have not run WOT yet. Rig will mostly be used here on the Middle Ches Bay chasing Rockfish, Blues, croaker, spot and some trayt if they make their way back up the bay next year. DaveHuz on the "Botumfedr". Boat name may also indicate a little about how I buy things. Boat took me about 4 mos to do the deal on my terms.

Near as I can determine I am the third owner. Last guy used it down on the rivers in VA as a bass fisherman and it appears that he and the orig. owner took pretty good care of it. I got the impression the first owner had it dressed up as his showboat and did not fish it hard. He added the T-top, electronics box and rod holders. Slowly getting it "spiffed up" , adding an updated fuel/water separator and expect to have it ready for the next season on the bay. ;-)
Anybody know whether the Johnson was a factory added engine. Have not seen a lot of posts where they were part of the package. Engine seems very clean and appears to be the original install.

From what I understand (and I'm no expert) before the Brunswick takeover customers could choose there prefered outboard, so it's very possible it's origional. I'm assuming it's the same year model outboard as the hull.

Yes thats possible, just like a car model year might not be the same as year of manufacture. You'll probably never know for sure but if it's running good it doesn't really matter. My motor is older than the boat!!!

Thanks guys, Have had this boat on my bucket list ever since they first came on the market. I know there are a lot of similar products out there, some of them in the real pricey range and upgraded and tricked out but this boat fills the bill for my type of fishing. Expect to get a lot of service and enjoyment out of it. Best of all with the slick glides on the new trailer, I don't feel intimidated by fishing alone and having to get it in or out of the water alone.

Trying to figure out the best place to locate the fuel water separator. Most obvious place is the starboard side transom requiring some reroute of the fuel lines. Another is the starboard side of the engine well right next to the through fiberglass fuel line. Both installs would be out of the way and they both appear to be easy access for a filter change. What say you guys out there?

I'm a fan of having my filter protected below deck. There are a lot of people that mount them in the splash well though..

starboard side of the transom seems to be the most convenient location after looking at the space available for the filter mount. Currently working on the FF install and trying to figure out all of the wiring. Prev owner did a Rube Goldberg affair in hooking up stereo, GPS and old FF. Sorting through all the splices is getting to be a challenge. Not as young as I used to be and working underneath the console even with the doors removed is a real pain.

Dave, where are you located? I fish the Potomac in an 02 2100. The factory wiring and splices are bad also As far as the fuel/water separator, here is mine... Attachments:
