I thought I would start things out by introducing myself to all of you and I look forward to getting to know each of you as well.
My name is Jeff. I am a lifelong friend of Jimmy Hancock. We've known each other since we were 17 years old. We are best friends. My current role with the company is as the social media and marketing manager. My background and skill set lies primarily in the creative world. I have vast experience in graphic design, photography, and product branding. I am the creator of the new SP logo as well as the new company slogan "The Next Wave." I will also play a significant role in the advertising dept. as that becomes necessary. That being said, I am not a boat expert myself by any means. I have been working closely with Jimmy on this as well as other projects over the last 10 years though so I am picking things up quickly along the way for sure. Rest assured, I am very much in the inner circle of all that goes on with Sea Pro and can answer any questions you may have. In other words....I have the Bat Phone!
So feel free to say "hi" and introduce yourself. Love to hear where you are from and what you love about your Sea Pro!

Hi and again Welcome Jeff.. I"ve had my Sea Pro for about 8 years now and I still love EVERYTHING about it EXCEPT the wiring. Luckily, I've only had a few easily fixed problems with the wiring over the years, but I think you'll find that there are more posts complaining about wiring issues on the Sea Pros than any other problem. Hopefully the new line has a better idea.

Hey Jeff. My name is Duane. My wife and i bought our first Sea-Pro in 07 a 176 CC. We loved that little boat and caught a ton of fish on her from Lewes De. to Chincoteague Va. But in 2010 we realized we wanted something bigger with a cabin hard top and enclosure. Then we found our current boat an 06 238WA. We love this one too and spend every weekend that we can get away on her from April to October.
As already stated the wiring has much room for improvement also better access to fuel tank ( fuel pick up and anti siphon and vent system )
Looking forward to seeing the new Sea-Pros and getting to know you Jeff.

Great to hear from you guys!
Hopefully I can effectively address all points raised so far with one simple response. Sea Pro "The Next Wave" is going to be just that....THE NEXT WAVE! We have no intention of trying to milk what may be left of the original legacy that Jimmy and Tommy created in the mid-tier center console industry over 10 years ago.
When Jimmy first started discussing the possibility of re-launching the brand with me it was clear that he was focused on bringing something completely new and original back into an otherwise stagnant marketplace. We discussed his return to the boat building business for the better part of a year before he made the decision to move forward. What I have been a witness to since that decision has been nothing short of remarkable! As word trickled out through the industry, I have seen dealers, sales reps, and boat vendors go out of their way to become an integral part of the NEXT Sea Pro! Everything from the molds to the standard features, both electronically and esthetically, will be NEW & IMPROVED! Our primary focus is to, once again, raise the bar and give the industry a new target to shoot for. As just one example, the original wiring harness and engineering was something that was used by 80% of our category at the time. For those who have had difficulty with the wiring on their Sea Pro's of the past, rest assured that our new and original wiring system will more than satisfy and most likely become the envy of our competition. As for replacement parts for old models, it is definitely something we intend to consider down the road but as you can imagine, starting over from scratch is a daunting task (to say the least) and we are utilizing 100% of our time, energy and resources to make sure that when we bring Sea Pro back to market it not only lives up to our former reputation but exceeds the expectations of even our toughest critics!

I know it's a long shot but any chance you guys will be making parts / cushions for the older models? Also you may want to consider releasing the logo or emblems that yall are putting on the hull. I could see folks updating their logo on the boat much like Cape Horn owners do.
One more thing. Is Yamaha going to be the only power option? The new merc 150 is getting rave reviews.

Welcome aboard Jeff. I've been a proud Sea Pro owner since '02 and am anxious to hear more about the Next Wave. In your attempt to bring something new to market I hope you don't forget what made the "Last Wave" such a great boat: quality AND affordability!
Oh, if you need any freelance copywriting help, give me a shout. I've been doing advertising creative for 30+ years and would love to help out.

Yes. We are going to be offering all models with option of Yamaha, Mercury or Suzuki and quite possibly Evinrude as well.

ABSOLUTELY Kevin! We plan to once again regain the top position in our category by doing just that....offer more for your buck! We are going to introduce several top tier technologies and luxury features at mid-tier price points. This remains the companies primary mission with the new line I assure you.

Welcome aboard Jeff.
Actually I am probably the newest Sea Pro Owner Since Fall 2014. I haven't even driven/piloted (what is the correct term) it yet other than a Sea Trial. Can't wait to see the new lineup and get to enjoy my new toy.

Happy to report that I just ordered our new window stickers. I'll be glad to send one to all who reply to this post! I'd also like to hear your honest feedback on the new design. I wanted to give it an upgraded more modern flair without losing the simplicity and familiarity of the original. What do you guys think?

I don't think it could be any better and the pointed leg on the "R" sets it off perfectly!! Good werk! I suspect you'll have a lot of current owners who have lost a letter here and there asking if they can order the new lettering. Are they going to be metal or plastic?

I like it, it's not too far from the original but changed just enough to be new . If that makes sense.

Jeff, The new logo looks sweet! Good work man. My boat's a 2001 190cc and I like everything about it! It's versatile, stabile, and I get compliments on it wherever I go. I use it for everything from freshwater fishing, to tubing, to pleasure cruising, to inshore & nearshore saltwater fishing and it has never let me down. I've always been able to dial it in and get a smooth, dry ride, even in some pretty rough conditions. I can also trim the motor up and get to/through the shallow spots when I need to. I'll take a window sticker but if you want, you can wait til those new boats are ready and send me one of those to test out! -Eric Sent using ProBoards.
