I'm looking at hot tops marine and cutting edge leaning posts for my 2006 sv2100, but can't seem to decide on width. I had originally thought 32" would be good, but now I'm worried that's too narrow.
For folks that have installed an aftermarket leaning post, what width did you go with / would you recommend?

It's all about what you prefer. I went a cutting edge 36" on my 210cc for more seating room, but you might want more walk around room.

Here's one where you can keep both your seats and a leaning post. You can have your cake and eat it too.

Thanks for the feedback. Spent some more time in the boat with a measuring tape this afternoon and think I'm going to go with 36" as well.
freezerfiller - do u remember what height you selected? I'm thinking 33". Also, what length screws did you use for mounting?
gtightline - I'm replacing a flip flop cooler seat, but the one you posted looks like an easy/cool way to convert captains chairs for sure.

I'm thinking 33". Also, what length screws did you use for mounting? Yeah, I ordered a 35" high one, but if I were to do it again I would order a 33". I used 1-1/4" long screws either #12 or 1/4" (can't remember but one of them fits perfectly in the holes provided). I used the drill size on the hardwood chart for that screw and 5200'ed the snot out of it.
