After 4 MONTHS of sitting in a mechanics shop (Boat sat for 3 years with 150 HPDIs on it. Send donations to pledges to scott@scotts180.com) I finally got to run this boat for the first time yesterday. I have a few items to work on from this shakedown, but overall I'm impressed. She ran 36 MPH on one engine, getting on plane in around 5 seconds. 49mph trimmed out with both 150s engaged. One engine has a miss, so back to the shop, but overall she did well.
The trim tabs are non functional (New pump came in yesterday so ill get to that) so she is a little stern heavy and porpossed a bit, but I think the tabs will cure that.
New Vinyl is done, New Canvas on the T top tomorrow. New baitwell pump installed, New sidescan Hummingbird 898c HD SI, new VHF done, new washdown pump later...and tackling some electrical gremlins. I hope to have her breaking the plane of the inlet by next week for some nearshore shakedowns. And the kings are getting close

It sucks having to do repairs to your boat but we all have to do it... The good thing about doing the repairs is you will know all there is to know about the boat.
