I usually just use water to spray down my OB engine after salt water use. I have been thinking of maybe using some type of spray to help protect against corrosion, and to keep the engine looking clean. What type of spray, or solution do you use to help protect your OB? Is there a difference between what you would use on a 2 stroke as opposed to a 4 stroke?

I use the yamaha stuff but I've heard corrosion X is good and WD40 has a couple of products on the market. No difference with 2 and 4 stroke.

I use CRC when I have it... when I don't, I'll use WD-40.. There's a lot of products out there that will work.. I've even used baby oil & mineral spirits.
