I replacing my steering cable and because of the narrow space on the transom I had to cut the old cable to get it out from the motor. I am worried I might have a really hard time getting the new one in. Does anyone have any experience with this? A video would be great.

Smallville, I haven't replace the one on my Seapro yet but I have on another boat with limited room before. I unbolted transom bolts and carefully slid the motor to port with the help of a floor Jack to get clearance for the ram to slide in.
