I'm in search of a sv2100 preferably 01 or newer. I'm in the South Georgia area and don't mind traveling a little for the right boat. TIA

I've seen both of those. The one in Tampa is thru locating company and are wanting too much out of pocket up front than I'm willing to put out. The one in Bama is pretty much what I want except it's got a merc 150 saltwater series. I've been told to stay away from those. It's an '02 motor 2 stroke. Any experience or thoughts on them?

Just my opinion but I'd be concerned about an 18 year old 2 stoke of any manufacture and I'd also want a tandem axle trailer so I'd say the one in Tampa is the better buy but the price tag is too high imo. I'd keep looking. You might find an 04 or newer model with the wider beam and the motor you want for around the same price tag or less if you're lucky. Good luck. The virus has caused a used boat buying frenzy. What part of south Georgia are you in? Here's an 04 that's close by (Port St. Joe) I bet you could get for $17K since it's been listed for a month. I don't like the seats but it's got a tandem axle trailer, 4 stoke Yammie, jack plate, power pole and looks like an i-Pilot Minn Kota on the bow. Might be worth checking out. www.smartmarineguide.com/L52510774

I'm not sure that's the one but I know a guy who I think knows the guy selling the boat. I can check if you're interested in it.
Edit: I was wrong... Not the same boat.

I saw one for sale near Nashville, Ga 2-3 weeks ago. Not positive on the model but was either a 1900 or 2100. It was a drive by.

I've seen them on Craigslist fairly regularly. Check the coastal areas, Savannah, HHI, Charleston, Brunswick and Jax. I'm in Savannah BTW, welcome to the gang!

Still looking I have one. Think there is still a listing in the 4 sale section. I kind of went slack on the selling after getting back from Cambodia in late March, not needing the $ and really not wanting to deal with people and all.

I was lucky enough to remember Nashville, GA much less the road I was on. I'll be back there in a week or so and will get info for you if it is still there and something that I would buy if I were in the market.

For some reason I am not given the option to add attachment from my phone . I will post up on that on a separate thread so this one doesn't derail into a how to.

apopkamarine.com/Boat-For-Sale/20256/2004-Sea-Pro-2100-Bay/I found this one at a dealer they took on a trade. Made the deposit and will go look at it next weekend. salesman said their shop looked over the motor and compression is good, new foot. 2004 sv2100 with 2004 Yamaha (450 hrs) on a 2004 tandem axel trailer. I am adding an I-pilot 80lb thrust and a marine radio. Total price with additions will be roughly 16k. Let me know what y'all think.

The link isn't showing the boat so I can't tell if the Yamaha is a 4 stroke F150 or not but if it is.... a bit of advice: Be sure it has had the counter balancer upgrade. If it hasn't it is subject to come apart at any time and when that happens metal shavings get into the oil pump and all through the engine. It will be cheaper to repower than have it repaired. Google it. The newer Yamaha F150s (07 and up) have the new counter balancer and are great motors but beware of the 04 thru 06 models. Ask me how I know.
