Not me but I know a couple of people who are. How does that work any way? Do you take a picture of your catch and send it to someone to enter? What keeps anyone from cheating and entering a fish they didn't catch? I guess you can tell I haven't seen the rules. Lots of fish should be caught in the 100 tournament days

99 more days in this year tournament. Also if your registered and catch a tag fish outside the when the tournament runs you get a $1000 engle cooler package, but you have to be registered.

I don't do Facebook but found most of the info I needed on their site last night: CCA STARThe start date listed in the rules is SATURDAY, July 1st 2020 I may sign up but I'd still like to know more about where and how many tagged fish were released. The rules also say you can use the STAR app or their website to log your catch but I didn't see any instructions on how to do that, so I still need to do a bit more research and find a place close by that sells the required West Marine measuring board. You can have the Contender skeeter. I'll take the new Pathfinder.

The measuring tape is free at all West Marines. I would sell the Contender before I splashed it, I think it has the most value of the prizes in the redfish division.

Good fer U. What were they? Snook & trout? If the rain goes away, I hope to go fishing Thursday and plan to stop by West Marine for a measuring stick before giving you any competition.

Two dink reds and a trout. I am logging by catches but targeting red fish til Oct. 4th. Up in Wisconsin for a week. Getting to target small mouth on Sunday. Got lucky and was able to book a charter with Cpt. Steve Mortenson.

That's a fine Redfish.
Pretty neat you saw a manatee.

I hope to get a couple more entries tomorrow. Looks like I'll be fishing alone though. My regular fishing buddy called last night with bad news... He's got cancer. Said they found it in his liver and it had spread to his lungs. He'll be starting chemo soon and won't be doing any more fishing. Seems like that crap always hits the good people.

One of my good buddies just finished the chemo for lymphoma so I know the feeling. It's not a good one.

Got two more trout entries today. The water was stained and the bite slow but I got to see another sea cow and green turtle so it was still a good day even fishing alone.

I have been doing some bass tournaments of late. Need to get back to the salt with some night fishing this week. Next week the high tide starts hitting in the sunrise times again , so will do some wadding then for reds. I need a new pathfinder.

That's a great idea. I need to do that. They don't like getting their picture taken unless you throw em on ice for a while and then they'll sit still so you can take a picture.
