Good call Juan. Less cords on deck as well. Even if it leaks slightly, it will drain into the bilge. I have been liking these grommets from Garmin for rigging. www.garmin.com/en-US/p/1147

That should work. I just squirted a little 5200 around the cable and in the hole then smoothed it out... no way is it going to leak

Juan, did you have to "shim" the rubber washers for your motor to hang plum? I have not been in the water yet, but it appears that the rear of the bracket need to come up

Yes, bolts got tight. What a B.O. itch!!!!
Pro-tip: Tape the washer to the nut, then really long nose vise grips and must have monkey long arms and a step ladder. Would gladly pay $200 if I ever have to change trolling motor again!!!
Sure would be nice if Sea-Pro would have laminated a backer board for the trolling motor mount area.
