Turn out better than I expected. Probably had twenty hours total into it and I'm old so I move slow. Had about $1500 into it for everything including all new hoses, fuel filters, clamps, wires etc.
Funny thing my MPG wasn't working so I did some research and found that my Mercury gauge was never programed. After programming in the size of the tank, trim settings, turning on engine oil pressure, temp and going through programming it when the tank was empty, 1/4 tank, 1/2 tank, 3/4 tank and full everything now works great. I'm surprised at how accurate the fuel gauge is. My trim gauge wasn't working properly either and I figure the sensor was bad but after programming that it now works as it should. They are very easy to program so I would check to make sure yours was set up correctly.

That is some fine craftmanship that you've shown us. Awesome job.

By any chance do you still have the new tank dimensions? As well price for it.

Do you have dimensions of the old / New fuel tank? Could be the same for a Sea Pro 235cc ( 1997 )?
