This is my rig on the way home after I bought the boat in Tampa. I get about 12.5mpg if I keep the speed around 60-65. Milleage drops to about 10.5-11 if I go 70-75mph. Truck has 5.3 v8. Not sure about rear end. Heading home from Fort Morgan.

Man! Y'all driving some NICE vehicles! Pulling boats to boot! No wonder the rest of the world wants to take what we have. With all it's faults, this is still the greatest country in the history of the world and I feel blessed to have been born in it.
Tow vehicle = 2000 F-250 Lariat 7.3L PSD. An oldie but a goodie!

Since I have owned my Sea Pro I have had 3 different tow vehicles. The first was a 1998 Dodge 1500 quad cab 4x4 with a 5.2 liter v8 and 3.55 rear end. I sold this vehicle with 75K miles on it. The tranny was starting to go and I had to replace the rear end after towing the boat to the keys and back in 2002. The 2nd vehicle was a 1998 Ford Expedition 230 HP 5.4 liter 4x4 with a 3.73 rear end and air ride. I put 215K miles on this vehicle without any major problems. I started having problems with the air system near the end. My current vehicle and best yet is a 2004 Lincoln Navigator with 300 HP 5.4 liter 32 valve 4x4 and 3.73 rear end. All the options including navigation. So far this vehicle tows the boat better than anything else I have had. It has the most hp and it rides great. Here I am filling up the 82 gallon gas tank on the boat. It's not as bad as last year when gas was $4/gallon but it still hurts. You can see the boat has changed some over the years. I have removed the bottom paint and just last month I put a new trailer under it. This is where the boat lives most of the time. My place on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake.

Flashy! Be careful where you launch with that COE tag. You'll get that sucker egged in Louisiana...
