I finally made my decision to upgrade from stock swingback seat to leaning post. Not easy to remove stock seat but I got it done. Surprised that there was no 5200.
I ordered the leaning post from Hot Tops Marine.

You're gonna get tired of standing up all the time.

Best thing I have done to my 190cc was adding the leaning post. I still sit on mine while trolling. I would however recommend that you get a foot cushion mat to stand on. For this old guy it sure makes the feet and back feel better at the end of the day. Try this website: www.footcush.com

Not sure how to post a picture from an e-mail but here is a link that is on the Sea Hunt forum. I have been talking to Raymond about changing the height of my swing back cooler seat. Click on the link and go poor man's leaning post. seahuntownersgroup.yuku.com/topic/2835/Cooler-Seat-converted-to-Poor-Man-s-Leaning-PostI should have mine done in a week to 10 days. The can make it any heoght that you want. It is neat that you can add rod holders to the side if wanted.

Also, what did that run you?

Care to share the tips on how you removed the original seats? I've purchased my leaning post but haven't installed due to time restraints. I'm just now starting to do some research on how to remove the two seats.
Thanks in advance

First remove the swing arms of your existing seat. Then open the fuel tank access hole and place some duct tape around the edges to protect your arms from fiberglass cuts. Next, get a 7/16 wrench and tape it to a 5/8 wrench to give you some extension.
Now you need to find a helper who can operate a screw driver while you fit your arm in the hole and secure the nut. I have long arms and used a ratchet with a screw driver head in it but would have liked the help.
Only the far back bolts gave me problems. I am 6'4" and 240 lbs. I fit my arm in the hole so most should be fine. Just take your time.
After thinking about the process the only other thing I may have tried was to sawzaw the side of the cooler out of the way - this will be a mess and trash the cooler for future use or resale.

The leaning post was $485. Thank you rhino. Runninlate- how much did the lift cost you, for comparison?

LAfromla1 they installed it for me an it was about 375. They were able to us the same holes that my cooler seat had. BTW, my cooler seat is the framed seat.
They custom make the extension to the height that you need. Mine was on 5" but I know that they have done one that is 12". Was a little concern about how steady it would be but I could not even tell it was there except I could see over the console. If you go over 5 or so inches they can put a foot rest on it for you. It takes a little time to get it built because they powder coat them.
PM me if you have any more questions.

Nice looking seat Rhino6. It gives the boat a different ride and feel to me. I miss my folding footrest. The factory leaning seat doesn't come with one!
