Hello. I'm in the market for a SV2100. I'm looking at one now but I think it is underpowered (140HP). I'd like to find a SeaPro bay boat in the $15K to $18K range -- prefer a Merc, Johnson or Evinrude. I'm all over the internet looking -- hoping someone on this forum has one that hasn't been listed -- thanks my email is jfaisten@yahoo.com

Slightly Dangerous -- thank you. I live in Michigan -- long poke for me to inspect and sea test. The one I'm looking at is in NC -- a bit closer. Thanks again for the reply and research.

There are currently seven SV2100's listed on Craigs List nationally. None even close to you.

I looked at (on line) the one in Texas. Funny place for the battery switch out in the open where it would get bumped while fishing. Batteries must be in the bilge ?? Not a good place for them in my opinion. I have moved mine and the switch under the console.

I look at craigslist everyday along with several others sites like boattrader. I'm traveling to NC Monday--I hope to find something with more HP before then. If not I'll grab the SeaPro in NC.

Not too far to drive. I drove to South Carolina to get mine and then took it back up there later on to get the hull repaired. Beautiful drive and lots of great food available along the way. I'll even treat you to some hard-core offshore fishing while you're here. Cheers

Slightlydangerous-- don't tempt me on the fishing. ifishinri -- thanks for the link. yamaha is tough for me -- the nearest repair shop is 35 miles away. I have 6 merc and evinrude dealers within 10 miles.
off hand, what would you or anyone else think the cruise and topspeedare for your SV2100 with a 150HP are? Thanks

Most of my friends up here would easily drive by those "Rude" & Merc dealers and go the extra 15 miles for a Yammy or Suzuki. My DF70 Suzuki is bullet proof !!! NOW that I have said that, I can probably expect to blow it up first time out this year !!!
All of my commercial friends (daily quohoggers) run wide open in not so good conditions wouldn't run anything else..............

Sorry -- i did not buy it -- the darn thing was beat up pretty good. Few good sized scrapes in the gel coat and generally not clean. He probably didn't take care of the motor either. Tough to walk away -- i need a boat. Thanks for asking
