Good morning everyone, thank you for letting me join. I have a lot of questions related tk a boat I just bought. It's a 2003 cuddy cabin, the model number on the sticker is 200cc, with a 150 Yamaha 2 stroke model number 150TXRC. The issue is I can't find any reference to either the boat or the engine model numbers. I went on Yamaha's website and its as if that model and serial number don't exist. From searching and reading I know Sea-Pro went through a lot turbulent times, but there's got to be some references to that specific model. Anyone have any insight?
Thank you in advance.

Only 200 model I can find is a 200FF, no data on it though. Can you post some pictures please. Your Yamaha is a 2004 model.

Thank you! You are correct, it is a 200FF judging by the photos. The label says 200 O/B, don't know how I got 200cc from that. My next question is the fuel gauge doesn't work, and there doesn't seem to be an access panel for the sender, short of cutting the deck where Sea-Pro helpfully left an outline. Is there another way short of slicing and dicing? PS: How to do you post photos?

I don't know where the fuel sender is on that model, is gauge reading empty or full? , firts thing to do is determine if the guage is bad or the sender. Click "Add image to post" and choose picture.

The gauge shows empty, even though the tank is full to within a few inches below the vent tube. On a test run it used up about 9 gallons for three hours of varying speeds, mostly about 25mph at 4K rpm. I will buy one of those "snake" cameras and poke it under the deck and see what I can see. Its a little absurd that the manufacturer wouldn't leave access to the fuel system components in case a repair was needed.

Most of them have an access hatch on the floor near the fuel tank. It's not great access, but it is access. You can get a resistor off of ebay pretty cheap and test your gauge. If it doesn't work, there is no need to replace the sender.

If it doesn't work, there is no need to replace the sender. The problem is that Sea-Pro didn't provide a access hatch above the sender, only a molded outline on the deck. I ordered a long bore scope camera, going to stick it under the deck and have a look-see. If that fails I'm drilling a hole in the back wall of the storage space and look from there too. I'm determined NOT to cut the whole deck open just for the sender!
