Folks pretty far down the path of buying this boat. Would be the first boat for my family (me, wife, two kids 6 and 3.) just wondering if anyone has thoughts on how dry and smooth the ride is. 250 Merc with only about 150 hours. Looks to be in great shape but I'd still do a survey. Price wise we've been negotiating and "final" price is $4Ok. Seems a little high to me even with the low engine hours and good overall shape of the boat.
Also was doing some reading and apparently the 2006 models were after the Brunswick acquisition and sometimes have lesser quality parts / gauges etc? Any truth to that? Nothing stood out to me but I'm no expert.

Price does seem a little high to me, but everything is these days and depends on year of the mercury. I can't speak about the quality of parts on a 2006 although mine is a 2007 and has Gemlux hardware which is good stuff. The ride should be fine and the sea pros have a decent bowflare, depending on conditions you'll get wet in any boat .
