Thanks Guys! I will take a look. I feel like it will be a great investment to run a stainless prop. The aluminum prop has alot of flex.

Some think flex is good - I can't say I agree ... but it is more forgiving if you hit something.
I hit a sunken container near the port at 2/3 throttle in my 26/454/IO and twisted the spline on the Bravo-1 outdrive (1-1/4" shaft) because the stainless prop didn't give (prop repair was much cheaper than the I/O). Aluminum would have curled or sheared off and protected the drive more ...
Some local prop shops will let your try a couple of props if you commit to buying from them...

Are you saying that you prefer aluminum? Run the same pitch and design prop, one aluminum and the other stainless on your boat. Tell me which one you want after running the boat. Dang a lower unit, I want the most performance possible out of anything I own. If I want a "beater" prop, I will get a cheaper stainless one. But I am a reformed bass fisherman and like to go fast...

I don't use alum either - just saying that some prefer it. Not me ... it would have saved $2k in outdrive repairs for me if I had it on my 26 though ...

... it would have saved $2k in outdrive repairs for me if I had it on my 26 though ... Maybe, maybe not. You never know. I say run the best you can and take your chances with stuff like that happening. I had a buddy roll the blade back on a 26P SS prop. Unbeknownst to him, his Lower unit had drifted next to a stump, he cranked up and when he dropped it in gear it bogged the motor out. He recranked and tried it again to have SEVERE vibration. Trimmed it up and found one ear almost rolled off. Never would have thought that. Learned two things out of that, 150 Mariners have more torque than I thought and S/S gives too. P.S. He did have to replace the lower unit two years later but I think it was because he had the prop fixed and the guy never got it balanced right. Prop was a 26P chopper and you could feel it in the wheel the whole time he owned it(post accident). Two years later he swapped props and the vibration went away...until the lower unit went out!

I guess this has to do with the prop area. I have a 2003 F75 TLRB and the shaft seal is leaking lower unit oil. I'm looking to work on this on my own but I need special tools and thats why I was hoping one of you might know the tools required. I have already found a shaft seal puller but now I am looking for a lock nut wrench that will work. The lock nut is #67 in the diagram. I was also told I need a prop wrench but I have no clue what that is for if anyone could answer that. Also if anyone knows where to look at a service manual for free for the outboard that would be great because I really don't want to pay $80 for a manual.
