2002 yamaha 90 hp outboard. oil injected. just had carbs rebuilt and cleaned. ran great on first trip, it began rough idle on second trip. runs strong underpower. while idle the motor shakes and chops. Im in the process of putting a inline clear fuel filter to catch debri from the tank. I am running a bottle of mechanic in a bottle right now as a additive and to remove moisture. any more suggestions. Thanks

Water in fuel? Using Ethanol?
Might need to add a Fuel-Water Separator instead f the glass filter (I don't like the glass filters anyway, because they can get broken and then you're stranded).

Sounds like a classic case of the "ethanol gas jitters".
I would suggest cleaning the tank real good, new fuel lines, a water/fuel separator (10 microns) and fill the tank with NON-ethanol gas.
Even using NON-ethanol gas I add a bottle Amsoil Quick shot gas treatment at every fill up. Knock on wood in the six years I've been using NON-ethanol and Amsoil quick shot I've not had the first gas related problem.. Now watch all you know what break loose.. LOL
