I have a 190cc with the df140. I went snapper fishing last week and the motor killed out on me 5 or 6 times. It started right back up every time. I also had issues with losing power to my dash, but once I wiggled the battery wire everything was fine. My question is if you are running and lost the power or ground wire connection would it kill the engine? And if it does why would it start right back up without having to do something to the wires like I had to do with the dash?

I don't have Zuki, but I can turn off the power to mine through the Perko switch and it keeps running...so I'm going to say losing a ground or power won't kill the motor...Have you been running ethanol lately?

No ethanol. I have had fuel issues before but this is different. It never ran rough or missed. It just killed out and then I could start it right back up.

Do you have a safety switch/ kill switch on you boat? A while back the plastic retainer on mine lost some of its stiffness and no longer made good contact with the switch... A couple of layers of duck tape on top of the switch was a good temporary fix
