When throttling back and coming off plane my motor wants to stall. I can usually finesse it back to where it won't stall, but definitely something out of the ordinary. The motor has done it since I purchased it late last year, and I recently changed out the fuel lines, filters, and fuel bulb.....so don't think it is related to any of those. Anyone had similar issues or other thoughts?

I cleaned out the VST and also had the injectors cleaned, but the issue actually got worse! It ended up being a bad spark plug! Lesson learned.....even if the spark plugs look good, swap em out.

Glad you found it. Bad plugs are a PITA.
I have seen that on my Yamaha Pro-200 plugs as well - I switched to one range cooler plug when I had it happened a lot. Then I found that the cooling water bypass was not working well at idle (trolling), so the top cylinder would get hot and finally kill the plug.
Once I fixed the water bypass problem, I went back to the factory spec heat range plugs (NGK) and she runs fine. I proactively change plugs every year now on my 2-stroke engines.

..... I proactively change plugs every year now on my 2-stroke engines. That's a good policy. Smaller engines like weed eaters and chainsaws will really perform better with regular plug change out.
