Hello everyone, I just purchased the Lowrance hds7 touch with lss-2 transducer (structure scan). I was wondering if anyone has one mounted on their sv2100, where exactly they decided to mount the transducers, and how it performs. I have read a lot of horror stories and really want to avoid drilling extra holes in the boat. Photos would be very helpful. Thanks in advanced. Eric

Do you have a transducer currently mounted on the outside of the transom? I'd mount it there since that's the location that has the least obstructions and the best shot to the bottom. Looks like you have a few options: mounting options for structure scan

I bought the boat with a through hull transducer. Was hoping at least one other sv2100 owner out there already figured this out

Just checking to see how you mounted the side scan. I am mounting a gt54 next weekend. Existing transducer is epoxied inside hull
Thanks

Side scan won't work with an epoxied through hull transducer. You'll need to mount a side scan to the transom.

Understood. Looking for advice on where to mount on transom. Left or right of motor. This model has a livewell pickup about a foot in front of where most people would mount the transducer. Is that a problem?

If a single outboard, the right side is standard because there's less prop turbulence. As long as it's not blocked, a livewell pickup shouldn't be a problem unless it prevents the transducer from being below the surface and horizontal with the hull.
