I stupidly lost my fuel cap, and I'm having a really hard time finding a replacement or even determining which replacement I should buy.
The boat is a 2004 Sea Pro 175 center console. Does anyone have any advice as to where to go on the web to find the precise specs about a replacement cap? I've tried two generic caps from the local boat store, but neither fit.
Thanks,
Richard

I know this is probably a stretch, but if anyone has a fuel cap for sale for a 2004 Sea Pro 175 CC (or knows where to find one), I sure would be interested.
Thanks,
Richard

Thanks for the reply. The cap you linked to doesn't look like the one I lost, but it might work. I wish I had a picture of the one I lost. It was larger, about 4 inches across. The guy at the boat store says I need a vented cap.

Hope you don't mind if I comment on this question,,,but the gas cap in the link looks exactly like the one on our 2002 17ft cc, if that helps.

Richard,
Very interesting situation here, i thought they were mostly generic given the size of the fill.
Take a picture of the fill with the missing cap and measure it in the picture. That will help me pinpoint an answer for you and ill take it down to the marina as well to ask the guys.
