I can throw a fly rod from mine with no problem... just can't face forward and throw.

Great looking boat. I have a '97 V2100 that I picked up last year. Repowered with a Yamaha F150. I really like the way it rides and handles. It needs some work though. I can smell the fuel in the bilge, so I know that I need to check the sender. I hope that's my only issue. I do have some softspots in the deck, but it appears to be from the fiberglass deck cracking and not anything structural.
When I finally get around to project time, I'm thinking about installing larger hatches on the port and starboard bow area. I also need to add a swim platform, and I was thinking about painting an aqua blue. If I can find an newer console, I may replace it as well, especially if I end having to pull the deck and replace the fuel tank.

Take pictures of your projects along the way so that you can share them. You'll have a nice boat to be proud of when you get through.

Thanks everybody! Next step is going to be to coat the entire inside with white truck bed liner. I've taken a small break from the project for upholstery and getting a few things around the house taken care of.
I too like zacros would like to have bigger hatches in the front. Its such a big area with such a small opening. But if that is the biggest complaint I have... I think I'm sitting pretty good!

flyingfishing - What sealant did you use on your sender? I'm trying to locate a fuel vapor leak on my V2100. Thanks!

zacros - I used some fuel tank sealant made for aviation fuel tanks. However, you can use the black PermaTex from any autoparts store. Just make sure its the fuel resistant tube. You should have a poly tank also... so remember nothing will stick to that material and you'll have to make some sort of plate to seal your leak.
