Hi everyone! I just took responsibility for a 1997 SeaPro 190WA w/ a C150 Yamaha outboard. It's in amazing shape considering it's age (it was owned by a family member since new and has been meticulously maintained). When replacing the spark plugs preparing for the fishing season, I noticed some corrosion around the head gasket on the engine. Everything else on the engine looks amazing - almost new! All the hoses are soft and flexible, engine is clean enough to eat off of. Should I be concerned about this? Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about it unless it gets worse, I would clean up the ground wire on pic 2 though and get some Yamaha corrosion guard sprayed on there. thwelcome31

Yeah thats not a big deal. Just the paint corroding a little bit. Standard depending on where the boat spends a majority of its time. Also seal on the gasket is still good by just looking at the pictures.

I'd clean it all up and spray the anti-corrosion spray on it that the manufacturers make.
