Hello - I have a 2000 170cc that fits into my garage very well, looking at selling current boat and getting a 2004 sv2100. Wondering how well an sv2100 will fit into my garage.
My garage is 31' deep so don't think that will be an issue but I am concerned about door height. I have about 7' of clearance on my double door. Will that work?
Any help with what the total boat/motor/trailer length and height to top of hand rail would be is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Depends on the trailer but I'm thinking 7' is going to be too low. My SV2400CC is 11' 8" high with t-top. I don't think the top added 4' 8" to the height of the boat. Can you get the owner to put a tape on it?

My sv1900 would need the grab rail and windshield removed to go into my garage.

When I purchased my 180cc I had the same problem. It was resolved by putting the windshield on a hinge. I had the grab rail cut and had stainless inserts welded onto the rail and holes drilled so that it would except a thru pin....It works really well and is tight with no rattle. When I am ready to store the boat into the garage I fold the windshield over and remove the grab rail. It gives me a couple of inches, and the boat fits well. I also had a folding tongue installed, also works very well...When I have a chance I will post some pictures of how I have it set up, if you like....

Welcome to the forum thwelcome31 I just walked out to the boat shed and stood next to mine... Like SimpleMan said, it depends on the trailer... I'm 6'2" and standing next to the boat on a tandem axle trailer with 13" wheels, the grab rail is about 10 to 12 inches over my head. I don't think the windshield will be a problem but it's going to be close getting the grab rail into a 7 ft opening.

Thanks for the welcome and appreciate the info.
Nice mods, gtightline. Really like the idea of cutting the grab rail and adding the quick disconnect pin & sleeve.
I'm looking to purchase the sv2100 recently posted in the for sale section. MagicTilt tandem axle trailer.

Mine is approximately 30 1/2 ft from coupling to prop with engine trimmed up for trailering, 7 1/2 ft from grab rail to ground (14"wheels), 9ft wide guide post to guide post. You'd probably reduce length a foot with engine trimmed down and more with folding tongue, about six to eight inches with guide posts removed, and you might get close to 7' removing the grab rail.

Your welcome... Mine is still very new to me but so far I like it. So did you purchase the boat?

No, did not purchase the boat... yet. Owner away from the boat for a few more weeks but still hoping we can make a deal.
Glad to hear you like yours. I'm ready for the bigger and better layout of the sv2100 or sv1900, versus my current 170cc. She's been a great boat but time to upgrade.
I'm in Charleston. If you know of any sv1900 or 2100, 2004 or newer, with a Yamaha, I'm actively searching.
Thanks for the help everyone.
