One of the great things that came out of my rebuild last summer was purchase of a plastic welder. Now anytime one of my fenders breaks on the trailer i can repair it. Here is before and mid fix. Ill post a finished job tomorrow. In the mid fix image i am halfway through bonding the material back together and creating a channel at the same time that i will later go back and fill.

Post a picture of the welder too.. I need one of those. My plastic welder is a soldering gun and blow torch. Thats basically all the airless ones are. Difference is the tips and this one i picked up has heat control. I was watching youtube videos on the air ones. They are amazing what they can do, but that should be the case when the cheapest one is like 500 bucks lol

Yolo; Noticed on your standard pic, I guess they call it an avatar, that you have an underwater led light. Is that a drain plug light. If it is what brand, how many watts or lumen, does drain much power, etc. etc. Drain plug. Prob my favorite thing on the boat. Not sure on the specs of the top of my head. I just know its .3 or .5 amps (per hour)

Having smallish kids, a plastic welder is an awesome tool to have in the arsenal. Think about how many kids toys are plastic... I use it all the time and it even helps with some of my grown up projects.

That's the one I have. It works great as long as you make sure you turn the air on first, and off last. It will burn up if you don't.
