Found out today I need to replace my 75gal fuel tank. My Seapro is a 206CC. Anybody ever had to do this work. Any suggestions on where I might find a fuel tank to match my old one? I,m in Galveston, tx. I can't read the manufacturers tag on the old tank although I do know its a 75gal which i could see back in 2010 when I got the boat.

I would suggest having one custom made to fit the space where the old one was, you might even get a bigger tank in there. Curious as to what happened to your tank, mine is the same age.

Well it was a long process but I finely have my boat back. My tank had a hole in the top near the sending unit. The hole was under a black water hose that i had laid on top of the tank and used as a raceway for two #6 electric wires that ran from a 3 bank trolling motor to the transom mount troll motor. it appears that the rubber hose laying on the fuel tank held some water and the current running thru the #6 wire caused some electrolysis that over the course of 2-3 years created a hole. I was able to find the original tank from RDS Manuf. in Florida. Cost of tank $700 + $140 to ship (two and half weeks) to Galveston. It cost $1500 for the fiberglass work and $1884 for the t-top, console, and new tank re install. The time frame was that i got my boat back on June 10th. So 3 months for the work to be finished. A very professional job was done by the marina crew. The boat runs great and I am happy that all is completed. I actually think my boat is better now that when I bought it in 2010. With the 150 Verado i am getting 3.5 mpg (starting , stopping getting on plane while fishing) and cruising at 5k rpm, running 36mph.

Wow, that's pretty crazy scenario with the electrolysis, but I know you are glad you got it figured out. Good to learn about the OEM tank manufacturer for others to help others later...

I have an aluminum 69 gallon fuel tank from a 1995 Sea Pro 210WA for sale. Sender works. Tank is clean no particles in gas. Only dirty on the outside. Check out picture of name plate and see if it will fit? Email: salalude@gmail.com

Well I think I'm in the same boat. No pun intended. Boat is over at shop. Reliable guy. Putting camera in tank to see where leak is. Fuel came out plug hole at back yesterday. I see and belive they must cut the deck to put in new tank? I had seadeck put down. Guessing this will be part of the cut issue too. Where is tank actually located in deck. Behind helm? Or under it too. Wondering if cut can be behind and slide in?

I had to do mine as well, tank runs from under the rear jump seat forward to under the console.
