Hello all, Getting my boat ready for summer and it is running good with the exception that the engine will not tilt up with either the console switch or the switch on the side of the engine. It will however tilt down just fine. When I push the button I am hearing a click from the tilt motor. It worked fine until I had to charge my battery. Any ideas?

First I'd check the relays or relay to see if your getting power when the up switch is pressed, kinda odd it happened after charging the battery.

What gnrphil said. Follow the wire from your T&T motor, it should lead you to a relay box and inside there should be two relays. Swap the relays and see if it now goes up and not down. If so replace relay.
btw: WELCOME to the forum.

Ok so I got a new relay to replace the supposedly faulty one and it still won't tilt up. When I press the tilt up button on the side of the engine the relay just clicks. I can't find anything wrong with wiring at all. the engine will still tilt down just fine. Any other ideas what it could be? Thanks in advance

It could be a bad ground. Check and clean your connections, if it still just clicks, you might try running a jumper cable from the positive side of a battery straight to the tilt motor to see if it will go up.. if not, the tilt motor might need to be rebuilt or replaced but it sounds like a bad ground to me.

Got the issue fixed today. It was actually the green wired relay that was bad and not the blue one. swapped out with new one and all is well. Thanks for the tips!
