Used the boat for the second time this season and it ran great all day. Came back to the dock engine started acting strangely. When i shifted from forward to neutral the engine would momentarily stall then re-fire itself. Got it to the dock and dropped the family. Pulled back off the dock shifted from reverse and engine quits. It did not want to re-start, starter was turning over but no fire. Finally played with the shifter and got it to fire and on the trailer. This is a first for me, any thoughts. Possibly shift interrupter switch? Neutral safety switch?

Sounds like a neutral safety switch in the control.

Yep, sounds like the neutral safety to me.

At least it happened at the dock and not 20 out...now that could have been a nightmare....Lucky for sure.

Sorry for the delayed update but it ended up being a bad shift interrupter switch.
