I bent the tongue on my trailer when it was new and I was inexperienced and just wondered if anyone has had a similar mishap and how you made sure it was straight. I took it to a welding shop and he clamped it straight and welded a plate on the both sides of the tongue but i couldn't find anyone to align it. I have made a lot of trips since and it seems to be doing alright. My tires wear on the outside tread and i talked to a guy at the tire store and he said that the tires it came with were too flimsy for the weight and I am going to install 6 ply when I change them again. Thanks for any input. There is not enough chatter on this site, looks like we would have more to say since we are all Sea Pro owners. ED

Thanks B/W/R. I don't think I need serious repair but the question was " is there an easy way to be sure since we do pull them at highway speeds" I'll keep the friend in mind if I have any problems in the future........ED

your right ed on the lack of chatter....I guess w/ the plant shutting down this year that will end any 'new' Sea Pro owners being created, and the people who had their's for awhile just lost the excitement of boat talk maybe??? who knows......
Also, I happened to come across bluewaterrunner's link off a post on the veroclub site or I never would have known about it.....
