As a new boater you're learning the first rule of boating.... There's ALWAYS something to add, fix, replace or repair.. apparently even with brand new boats. BOAT = Bring On Another Thousand. Ain't that the truth I think the new ones are worse than a slightly used one since the slightly used one already has had all those initial kinks worked out. lol Don't worry, hopefully your dealer and Sea Pro will get you straight soon. It's pretty common for brand new boats to have a few bumps in the road before they're 100%. The good news is that they are all covered under warranty

Beautiful boat , looks like they have the boat sitting uncomfortably close to the trailer fenders on both sides. I'd hate to see it get chewed up. Just saying.. Welcome aboard.

Thank you for sharing the photos of your new toy. Very nice looking boat. BTW really enjoyed seeing how they rigged that engine. I am not certain if transom height to bottom of the boat/keel line are the same with new boats as with older but similar Sea Pros, but they put engine height the same with your engine as mine. Also not certain of your outboards shaft length. At any rate once you get it broken in some you may want to see how that antivent plate is buried once you get into operating at WOT. I had my boat for years running at same engine height as yours and pretty certain it was way it was set up originally. After seeing how motor should run I ended up having to raise my engine as high as it would go to the last hole. It made a lot of difference in how boat operated and I raised the motor to the top hole on my 208 and the cavitation plate is still barely above water. Not sure why Sea Pro mounts them so low.

Sorry for not responding sooner to everything, been working a lot! The boat is currently back at the SeaPro factory. Dealership said it appears as though the t-top bolts have pulled out from the deck, and are stripped. Also, should be getting a new console door on the front as the first design they have is doing-foo and doesn't latch with the cushion in place. Getting a seat replaced on the rear as the hardware has torn a hole, and also have a speaker in the top that is not working. I almost feel as though the boat has spent more time in the shop than it has on the water.

Your story is common among new boat owners. I think my money will go to 2-4 yr preowned and save the sticker money for add-ons. hope Sea Pro takes care of you! Please post how it turns out. At least the dealer did the right thing and sent it in to the factory. Please post more as I was about to buy a new one myself.
