Short of a wire brush and a lot of elbow grease, has anyone found a way to clean and shine up galvanized wheels?

To clean up, I've used that engine degreaser in a can from the auto parts store and a pressure washer. Never tried to shine galvanized, I figure that defeats the purpose of galvanized..

I'll try that...Not looking to make them shine like chrome but would like to find something that removes years of road film and grease stains. They look closer to black than the gray galvanized color.

Thanks.. The first link isn't working but the second is and I'll be getting some of the Galvanizing paint. I looked for that at Lowe's and didn't find any so used silver paint on the axles.

Is that stuff light tan in color and turns black when dry? Might be the same as the "Rust Converter: I've been using for years.. www.theruststore.com/Rust-Converter-Gallon-P40C10.aspx I'll be getting some galvanized paint for the wheels but used the Rust Converter on the torsion axle assemblies and when that dried, I painted them with Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating. That stuff works great on my barn roof so I couldn't think of anything better for the trailer.
