It runs fine in cooler temps but once the temps get 85 to 90 deg, you can crank it and it runs till you cut it off. When you crank it again and get it on plane the gas ball sucks closed and it will go back to idle or cut off. Some times it will crank back up but won't take gas, I have to pump the throttle and play with it to get it to go. I have changed the check valve at the gas tank, it was stuck open, so I thought that might be it. I have taken it to two different shops and they can't figure it out. HELP lol

Put it on a portable tank and see if it runs good in warmer weather. If it does then you at least know which direction to be looking (fuel storage/delivery system or motor problem).

Thanks Simply Man,
I'm gonna trade it instead of trying to fix it.

I could always be wrong, but with the mention of warmer temps I think it may be vapor lock. Did the shop mention that as a possibility?

I wouldn't think a bad fuel pump would suck the bulb closed. You sure the bulb is good?

It has been replaced twice, and it still sucks it closed.

If that's the case, I bet your fuel pickup screen is clogged. I second Simpleman's opinion of trying a portable fuel tank first.
