If you've heard of Wooody's wax, you might have also heard that Fluid Film is the same stuff (and MUCH cheaper)...
Well, I can't answer that, but while at Lowe's I did pick up a can figuring WTH i'll give it a try. I'm pleasantly surprised. After cleaning the boat, i applied a LIGHT mist to my non-skid as well as the inside of the hull. You apply while the boat is wet, then spread it around and hose it off.
WARNING WARNING WARNING The deck WILL be slippery while applying. After spraying down it is not. If you bust your @$$ I am not responsible. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Results?
Last night my buddy did his best to get the boat covered in mud when he retrieved the anchor, plus some squid ink, etc... Well, boat sprayed clean VERY easily.
For the price ($9 a can), the easy application and the small amount you use, it will now be part of my normal routine
FYI -- The stuff is simply Lanolin in an aerosol can. But it really does work well!

It was in with the power tools on and end cap. It was with other sprays such as wd-40 etc.

Is this it? The maintenance directions for my trolling motor suggest spraying a light coat of silicone on it occasionally. This might be a lot better than silicone spray. The description states: Powerful, long-lasting, universal, rust, corrosion preventive and lubricate Will not dry, crack, freeze or readily wash off Safe on all metals, painted surfaces, and plastic It also says it washes off with soap and water... Does it stay on the deck after washing it down?

That's the stuff. Not sure I would spray it on my engine. It's pretty thick. I like CRC HD silicone for engine maintenance.
It leaves a coating on the deck. Just a thin film of lanolin. It's kinda like those wax as you dry products except A. It's more heavy duty. B. You apply it to a wet surface brush it in and hose it off. After hosing down you will see the water bead up on whatever you put it on.
I used it on the entire interior it was so easy to apply. Spayed some on a wet wash mit and swabbed down all the gelcote, gunnels, top cap, sides, etc. (reapplying 4-5 times maybe), no exaggeration took 5 min tops then a quick rinse. I wouldn't obviously use it as my ONLY wax on non-deck areas. But as a top coat for easy clean-up the stuff is pretty great.
Cleaned-up my T-top too. (well as best as can be expected as mine is pretty pitted from years of neglect before i got her)
