Was just out working on my trailer and realized I'd been doing something an old Army Motor Sgt showed me years ago that others might be able to use. Rather than getting down on my hands and knees to read the tiny recommended tire pressure info on the side of the tire, I mark it by the valve stem with one of those yellow crayons the tire repair places use. Now I can retain what little dignity I have left and still get my tire pressure right.

Those old motor pool sgts knew what they were doing.. I remember the tire pressures painted on each vehicle's fenders with black paint. I painted my boat trailer the same way. Not because I had a problem getting on my knees to put air in the tires but because I have CRS and could never remember the tire pressure.

So simple. So devilishly clever. There is no limit to what one might learn on this forum.
