Not sure how much more I am going to get the boat out this season. The reason was that my first child was born. My daughter was born almost two weeks ago and she was a healthy 6 pounds and 21 1/4" long. First child at 40 years of age...LOL.
Baby and mama are doing well. I have to admit that this is a bit of shock to the system in some ways. I knew what I was getting into but still it is a lot.
Oh well, catch a big one for me. Hopefully I will sneak out at some point but not for the any foreseeable future.

CONGRATULATIONS!! notworthy Just think about cleaning fish when you're changing diapers. One day she'll want to go fishing with Dad and all the diaper changing and loss of sleep will be worth it.

Great way to put it Juan. We shall see. I am hoping at some point I will at least be able to get the kayak out to chase snakehead at some point. I was getting ready to try to do some jigging for stipers from the boat. Baby came a week early and cancelled a fishing trip for me.
I have to take my hat off to all of you parents on here. It is a tough job and I am just starting it.

They make infant life jackets, and you have a bimini for shade. I took my kids out on the water every chance I had.

Congratulations, very cool...I have 4 and 1 step son, the oldest being in her late 30's..just let me say that it was well worth the effort. Enjoy your children now, because before you know it, they will be grown. The time will fly by.
