Been trailering my boat to some lakes around Sebring FLA. Like not having to rinse everything down after a day on the water. Only one ramp was short ... Used to fishing out a Gheenoe so feels like a lot of overkill boat wise but getting used to it.

My sister lives near Sebring. There are a bunch of good bass lakes in that area. My brother in law and I hit couple in his boat a couple years ago and we caught em until were got tired of it. I want to fish lake Jackson next to highway 98 one day. Looks fishy.

Yeah, I get a few strange looks when I take mine crappie fishing. Even had a guy come close in a skiff (apparently unfamiliar with Sea Pro's) and say something about me needing a $65k boat to crappie fish. I only replied "it helps" with a smile as I reeled in a nice double and my buddy brought one in right behind me.

One of the best bass fishing lakes in the state of Florida is Lake Istokpoga in Highlands county inbetween the town of Lake Placid and Sebring, have been here a few times, it is about 35-40 miles north of Okeechobee. Highlands county has some of the finest freshwater fishing in the state..here is a link describing Istokpoga: link
