Good luck. Those are sweet rods. Pricey but sweet. I've seen a few used ones on eBay under $200 but eBay scares me.

If it all works out, be a 7'6" med heavy and about $100 bucks into it. Got a Shimano Curado Dc for xmas and needed a rod to match it to. Think I will go with yellow thread(rod blank is green) and make it a Packer themed . The factory grinds the rods label off and need to cover that mess. No life time warranty ... Going one piece couldn't find any ferrules I liked.

Nice. I like. emthup I use mostly 7'6" but have a 9' I'll throw now and then. I think the longer rods have more action but they're a bit@h to carry. You get your rod build and repair stuff from Mud Hole?
