I'm probably overthinking this, but does the t-top catch enough wind underneath to do any damage while towing on the highway? The frame work of the top looks fairly horizontal when hooked to the tow vehicle, but I cant help but think it still catches some air up underneath while moving? I'm planning a 4 hour trip which is much more travel time than my short runs to local lakes.

I'm probably overthinking this, If I go over 80 mph my boat leaves the ground and flies around like a kite behind the truck. Yes, You are overthinking it. There may be a little wind resistance but not enough that you'll notice.

I never had an issue. My gas gauge notices it though.

Juan, you are a hoot. Had me going there with that first sentence of yours. Thanks guys for your input. This is my first T-top boat, and maybe my first road trip with a boat. Getting a bit excited now.

I went ahead and removed the antenna. Blue tooth makes music extremely easy, and I mostly jump around these lakes up here in DFW so I don't see any need for a VHF radio??
