water on plugs and looks like mud

Have a friend with 92 130 hp yamaha, when he pulls plugs can see water and something that looks like mud. Pulled the heads and water jacket gasket is bad, but can't see how water could get into . The compression part of the head gasket looks ok. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Did you do a compression check, did the motor ever overheat, if so it's possible you could have a cracked or warped head..Im no mechanic, but that would be my guess..

I would look at financing. They are giving $$$ away cheap at the boat shows for repowers. Sounds like your friend is in the rabbit hole already , with the heads off.
