Hey guys
The non skid on my new Sea Pro is a sandy type of non skid. Not like my old Sea Pro, which was a grid pattern molded into the deck. My question is, how do you clean this new non skid. Sure its great at holding on to my feet, but, it also holds onto stains really well. Is there a product out there that will help?

Regular boat soap doesn't clean it? How about something like 409, Simple Green and/or bleach?

My deck is like yours was on your old boat so not sure how it will work on your new deck but I bought some deck cleaner/wash by StarBrite that worked good. It claims it "lifts" the dirt and stains off.  |

It depends on the stain, but as long as it isn't marking soles, I'm a big fan of Kaboom with oxi-clean.

My new Key West has the grainy type floor. It seems to be more difficult to clean than the diamond plate on the 206 I had. I will go with Juan on this one. I use the Starbrite deck cleaner and it works great. I bought a 2L hand sprayer from Amazon. Wet it down, spray with the Starbrite and let it set for a minute or two, and with a light scrubbing everything comes right off.

Update:
I think I may have found a solution!
Step 1 - Simple Green scrub, soak, then pressure wash
Step 2 - Star Bright Deck Cleaner Scrub, Soak, then pressure wash
Clean as new!!
Step 3 - 2 coats of Meguiars Ceramic Wax Coating
Fished today, came home and washed the boat and the deck came clean. Honestly I was shocked!!

Great. These ceramic waxes are amazing. I've recently been using one on the outside of almost everything I own. Didn't think about putting it on the deck. I'll have to try that.

I'm trying to learn how to get ahead of the stains on this rig, normally I just spray the piss out of it with high power pressure washer, but I think I am blasting off any wax or sealant that was on it...Thanks in advance! |

UPDATE!!:
So, the ceramic did great for maybe 4 outings, then degraded quickly. After 6 trips, which for me is just a few weeks, there was no benefit, and I was right back where I started.
I am SO sick of this non skid!!
Im about to drop a few grand to cover it up with seadek or something like it.
Any other ideas before I piss off the wifey?

Wife disliked the Seadek in our last boat but not as much as I dislike cleaning the nonskid

Man I know this is bleach but it gets my 2018 208 non skid easily back to new every time. I buy the 30 Second House Cleaner from the department store or home center. I rinse the deck with a garden hose, I mix Cleaner with water 2:1 in a Hudson sprayer and apply it to the deck, wait about 31 seconds and jet it off with the garden hose. DONE. Haters can hate but this is what I do. I don’t do it every time, just when it gets to where I can’t wash it clean anymore. I like that McGuires ceramic too, I use it on the hull, now I’ll have to try it on the deck.

Did you ever try the kaboom with oxy clean? I've had good luck with it, especially with fish blood.

Just a thought but would a pressure washer do any good. I use one on my 1999 grid pattern and it does a good job.

I always struggled with mine, turned out my brush was crap. A large sponge for wally would made a big difference.
