I fished West bay in Panama City today. Slick calm and nice out there until noon and then got rough and HOT. The water was so high, half the dock at the launch site was under water. Had a blow out on the way down there and drove another 40 miles to the ramp. I'll say it again: Thank God for tandem axle trailers! Tire was shredded but the mag wheel wasn't hurt. Caught 23 speckled trout and none were over 12" The picture says it all"

Most unfortunate about that blowout. Seems too frequent amongst us boaters. Glad you were able to fish.
Did Sea Tow come fix it while you were catching trout?

I forgot I had Sea Tow trailer coverage and changed it myself after fishing. I have load range "C" tires but bought a load range "D" today. Maybe they'll be better tires. I'll change out the others as they blow.

Whoops. That was your premium right there.

Whoops. That was your premium right there. Not the first time I've done that either. I never think about the trailer coverage when I get a flat so I've never used it. Probably faster to do it myself anyway.

Do it yourself probably is faster. When I suffered a blowout I was 6 miles from the launch. I could have waited an hour or so for Sea Tow to get there, but I chose to spend 20 minutes changing it myself so I could get in the water. The desperation of an angler with a single-axle trailer.
