New to Sea Pro and optimax. Last boat 225 Sea Ray express Cuddy set up for fishing 20-30miles of San Diego. I’ve had her out Twice now and seems real stable and dry 2-4’ swell light wind. I could see where heavier seas and wind you’d get a little wet..but no worries here. Any advice from you long time owners on any issues I should look for? Done a ton of searching on Opti’s and going to have a Mercury tech give me a read out on engine, Was serviced a year ago and has north of 400hrs. I’ll do the gear oil, plugs, water filter and only DFI oil. Have already run Quickleen-dfi oil and marine stabil cocktail on the last few hour trip. Runs real strong and solid pee tell tail. Will also check compressor-belt tension and loose compressor bearing & strainer for any clogging. Any thing else? Thanks for any info guys, been lurking here for the last few weeks as I was just looking at Sea Pros 180 thru 210’s

Welcome aboard and congrats on your Sea Pro, check the stringer drains in the bilge, they have been know to be blocked allowing water to hold on the outside of the stringer.

Welcome and congratulations. What he said! Good looking boat and sounds like you already know what to check but I'd also do as grnphil suggested. If the drains are plugged, it wouldn't be the first.

Thanks guys. So in the bilge there are port & starboard holes in the stringers that let water pass thru to bilge? I’ll try a search here for that.

Hello, Anyone know where the sending unit is located on a 2004 sea pro 206 cc. No access panel no where on deck. Show one access panel between the batteries in the center of the boat. Please help my fuel gauge is not working. Thanks
