Approximate draft of SV 2100

Approximately how much water does 2006 SV2100 draft?  The chart reflecting specs for various model years shows 10" for the models other than 2006.  For 2006, chart says 16".  Is it correct that draft increased approximately 6" between models prior to 2006 and 2006?  If so, any idea as to why the draft increased from 10" to 16"?

My 2004 SV2100 (which is the same hull) touches bottom in 12"-13" (actually measured with a ruler) of water. It needs about 18" for the motor to operate.
