Felsmere was a blow out with both days steady 20 knots gusting to 30. But what a lake , can not waite to get back there. Tampa Bay Friday and Saturday was windy as get all again . But this time was on a airboat and the wind actually worked in our favor by blowing out even more water out of the bay. Had my personal best with 21 reds, countless trout with a 24"er, and a couple snook. I soaked my first phone by misjudging the depth of a pothole. Hope to get asked out again on a negative tide, we got on so many potholes that were dry by blocks of mud flat. They guys I was with have been marking spots for 20 years and was a honor to fish with Captains of this level. The bass are in their prespawn feeding frenzy and all the lakes around here are reporting a phenomenal bite. Going Camping/fishing with two guys I met last year at George Pomarals Salt Water Sportsman's course. Hitting a new lake to me Thursday/Friday. Edward Medard Resvore just north of Tampa. No motor lake, supposed to be a good crappie lake to, so bringing some ultra light rigs and a jug of peanut oil. Tightlines folks. www.hillsboroughcounty.org/library/hillsborough/media-center/documents/conservation-and-regional-parks/maps/medard-map-201801.pdf?la=en&hash=E6D143106E35A2D9FD2DD6AEB5B421896447F038
