Low Heat Solder Connections

I forget who did a revue of these .  Figured I would try some so ordered up a set off Amazon. Pretty ez to use. I used my heat gun and did the trick without burning the plastic shrink cover. Don't think they are as good as a proper solder connection for marine use and I did cover the whole thing with adhesive lined shrink tubing for extra water protection, but  will be reaching for these on automotive connections for their ez factor. Not sure I would use in the bilge , but for high and dry applications a ez go to .

I got something similar. They work fairly well. I was using them on the wiring for my spreader lights. They are way less expensive when buying the kit off of Amazon.

I was the one that mentioned them a while back. They sure are easy. I agree they probably aren't perfect but damn near tool-less. I'll make sure to look at the ones I did and see if I see any corrosion or anything starting and report back.
