I remember fishing phosphate mines in South Florida as a kid. Beautiful deep, clear, greenish blue water and huge bass but because the water was so clear, they were hard to catch. Good luck, Let us know how you did.
You should check out the Peace River while you're in the area. My BIL and I caught some nice snook there and they should be there this time of year.

Have fished the Peace , lot closer to me is the Manatee river and feeder creeks to Sarasota and Tampa Bay. My seapro landlocked until I get a cash buyer, and the ranger's engine has never seen salt, going to try to keep it that way.

I don't know where the salt starts, but I think the Peace is all fresh in Hardee county. At least it is around Wauchula. I was surprised that snook were in fresh water but they are.

You betcha, I have several rock pits (fresh water) in my neighborhood, there is one in particular that holds Snook, I've caught them, and I have also seen Tarpon rolling in that lake....On May 22 2019, I caught a Tarpon in the L67 canal (Everglades) while trolling a rapala for bass, it was small, maybe 15-20 pounder...I have been fishing the everglades for many years and have never even heard of such a thing, but it was there, in fresh water, I was shocked when I saw it jump..It was released back into the glades unharmed. I added a link to a video, but took it down because it shows too much of my info....Juan, do you have any ideas how I can post it without sharing my info...

Yeah I thought of that Phil, but it is still the same problem with privacy, info will show. I used to use Photobucket but since they started charging for the service I stopped using them. It is a short video of less than a minute..

I don't have an answer. I would think you could make a video with a cell phone or personal camera and link it without it showing any personal data. What kind of personal info does it display? I didn't know YouTube videos did that.

E-mail, and usernames...

everyone can see your username and your e-mail is displayed in your profile here. As long as passwords aren't displayed, I wouldn't worry about it but with all the scams out there these days, I fully understand your concerns. Send me your passwords, social security number, and bank account numbers and I'll make sure no one gets them. rofl Something else... You're prior service and I think my age (or close to it) so like me, your social security number was probably also your service number. Everyone in the world had access to your service number back then, it's even printed on my dog tags and it's never been a problem for me, so I'm sure there's a reason but I don't understand why it's so important to keep social security numbers a secret these days. What can someone do with your social security number?
